Obituary for Vicki D. Runda (Mohler)

Vicki D.  Runda (Mohler)
Vicki D. (Mohler) Runda, 72, of Fort Wayne died Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Golden Years Homestead. She was born August 15, 1945 in Wolf Lake, a daughter to the late Elmer and Vivian (Reider) Mohler. Vicki graduated from the Holy Cross School of Nursing in South Bend and became a registered nurse. She was employed with the VA Medical Center in Fort Wayne where she served as a surgical nurse and an ICU nurse. She was a member of Harvest Fellowship Church in Leo.

Surviving is her husband of 36 years, Michael L. Runda; children, Laura (Mark) Schultheis; Tim (Jackie) Kintz; Carly (Jon) Duvall and Nathan Runda; grandchildren, Bailey; Matt; Kennedy; Ben; Hannah; Nick; Delaney; Noah; Avery; Asher; Olivia; Micah; Charlie and Henry; sister, Jill Machinena. She was preceded in death by daughter, Sarah Jane Runda.

Funeral service is 1:30 PM Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Fairhaven Funeral Home 6557 N. Clinton Street with visitation one-hour prior. Visitation also from 4 – 8 PM Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
