Viola Mae  Phillips
Viola Mae (Moss) Phillips, 81, entered her Heavenly home surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Parkview Hospital North Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Petosi, Missouri to Ed Moss and Ethel (Moss) Higgins.

Viola was a restaurant owner, garment factory worker, sheep farmer, and a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. “An all-around loving family person and friend”.

Her hobbies were spending time with her family, sewing, quilting, helping others, T.V. , playing games if she knew them, gardening and planting. Viola enjoyed her flowers, loved her yard work, and cooking for everyone as she loved her family and being with them.

She is survived by one brother, Joseph (Judy) Moss of Ill.; two sisters Vicky Omicinski of KY. And June Steingass of Fort Wayne; Son Albert (Ida) Rowen of MO.; grandchildren Buddy Rowen(CA), and Nicole Bray, Tammy Neal and Lisa Rowen all of MO. Special nieces Vickie Wallace, Corinna Forster of Fort Wayne, and Kit Newton of TX. And many more nieces and nephews she loved very much.

Viola was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Phillips, daughter Donna Aubuschon, parents Ed and Ethel Moss, brothers Ed Moss Jr., John William (Bill) Moss, and sisters Lillian Erlinger, Dee Wallace, Midge Gum, Dorothy Virginia Moss, and one grandson Roy.

Service is 1:00 p.m. Wednesday November 23, 2016 with calling two hours prior at FairHaven Funeral Home 6557 N Clinton Street Fort Wayne IN 46825. Pastor James Keckler officiating. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family.
