Obituary for Susan M Lichtenberger (Elwer)
Susan Lichtenberger, 59, passed away August 15, 2017 at Parkview Hospital
Born in Lima, Ohio, She was the daughter of Leonard and Imogene Elwer.
She was a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University and was employed at Edy’s Ice cream as a Manager.
She is survived by one daughter, Wendy Lichtenberger, longtime friend, Mary Roehrs, sister Theresa Looser, brother, Aloysius Elwer, four grandchildren and one great- grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Jonathan Lichtenberger, sister, Marilyn Karst and two grandsons William and Nicolas.
A funeral service will be Monday, August 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m at FairHaven Funeral Home with one hour of calling prior. Visitation hours will be on Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. and 5 p.m-7 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home 6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46825.
Memorial contributions may be made to Supportive Care Unit of Parkview Hospital Randalia; Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana or Parkview Home Health and Hospice. Burial will be at Concordia Gardens Cemetery 5300 Lake Ave Fort Wayne, IN Online condolences may be made to www.fairhavenfortwayne.com
