Obituary for Robert L. Kirchgassner
ROBERT L. KIRCHGASSNER, 72, of Fort Wayne died Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Parkview Hospital Randallia. He was born on November 12, 1944 in Fort Wayne to the late Anthony and Opal (Smith) Kirchgassner.
Robert was a U.S. Marine Corps.Vietnam veteran. He retired from Trelleborg where he was a CNC Operator.
Surviving are his wife of more than 49 years, Carla (Rose) Kirchgassner of Fort Wayne; daughters, Melissa Kirchgassner of Fort Wayne; and Gretchen (Andrew) Gram of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Robert Kirchgassner; Amber Wetzel; Reina Vargas; Cole Gram; Gabriele Kirchgassner; and Linkin Lewis; great-grandson, Tristyn Kirchgassner; siblings, Carol Humbarger of OH; Shirley Miller of Fort Wayne; Duane Kirchgassner of Churubusco; Kay Lynn Advany of Fort Wayne; and Don Headley of OH.
Funeral Service is 11 A.M. Monday, June 5, 2017 at Fairhaven Funeral Home 6557 N. Clinton Street. Visitation is 3 P.M. – 6 P.M. Sunday, June 4, 2017 and one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.fairhavenfortwayne.com.
