Condolence: I first met Bob playing little league baseball. He helped me with my stance. I thought wow, the best player on the team took the time to help me out. Little did I know our paths would connect again in high school, playing football. Man, was he good. I always thought he was a quiet guy, sure he partied when it was time to party, but he gave a lot of thought about things. Now it's time to say good bye to another classmate. I'll always be thankfull he was my friend. But most importantly he was, in his own way, a good man.

Condolence: Marcia, Paul and Family,

Our love is with you all at this sad time. We are so grateful that we, along with McKees and Kellers, were able to be together last month, and I will always have memories of the times I spent with Whitey during our high school years and out here in California.
He will be sorely be missed.

Our deepest sympathy.

Condolence: Bob was my next door neighbor at Crooked Lake for the past eleven years.

He was the definition of a great guy. A genuine guy. A fun guy. I can still heat his contagious laugh.

He always told me "if the doctor tells me I have six months left to live, I'm going to have some Windsor and Coke and some Marlboro's. Ha!

Well Bob, I'm not doing the cigs but I will have a Windsor and Coke (or two) to celebrate your life.

Sure hope you're sitting in a boat on a beautiful lake waiting to catch Mr. Big.

When I think of Bob Boedeker, it brings a smile to my face. In the end; isn't that what it's all about?!

Condolence: Hey Whitey aka Robert H.

At least, we all got together one last time on your recent visit to CA. You and John Keller were still having a hard time believing when Mike Bobay produced an article from Fort Wayne News Sentinel that Queen of Angels put a whuppin'on Cathedral.
We had some great times at CC High. Michele and I are thinking of Marcia, Paul and family. You will be truly missed.
Take care,
Mike

Condolence: Whitey, I will catch up with you on the other side.

Funny how some people leave an impression on you that you hold onto forever. What a guy!

Condolence: Whew! What a run man! There are good friends, old friends, lifelong friends, best of friends and best friends. After all the ground we have covered the last 60+ years, you certainly qualify for all of the above.

You sure had a penchant for making the tests and trials of childhood and adolescence into more than memorable adventures. That “Boedey Bold” attitude was contagious. It paved the way for some great adventures, and some not so great. It sure got us into a lot of doors, and got us thrown out of a few too. Against some pretty stiff odds we made it into adulthood and even our senior years. Oh those adventures. Man, they were icing on the cake!

I’ll be seeing you sooner or later. And if it’s ok with you, I’d rather make it later. I know where to find you: I’ll just look for a bold metallic green comet that looks like a ’62 Pontiac Bonneville. There can only be one of them, it will really stand out just like you. And we’ll do some cruising in the cosmos. Yee Haaaaaaaaa!

Condolence: I knew Whitey since the grade school days at Cathedral. His brother, Paul, and I were a couple grades ahead of Bob. Knew his parents as they were
active in youth activites during our school days. Very sad to hear of Whitey's passing. Joe Tonsing, Columbia, SC.
