This note is being written to express my sincere sympathy in your great loss of Mary. She was always a ray of sunshine with a big smile to greet you. She will be missed greatly at North Park Community Church Family.

Mary was so good to me and everyone at our company when I first got to know her through Peoples Mortgage. So many great experiences and memories were made during those years. The lessons she taught her great staff and the agents at our company and all that she crossed paths with were life long lessons about being accountable for our actions. Mary never passed the buck and would expect the same accountability from others. What a role model and wonderful teacher! God Bless you John and Mari and your family. I will always remember the many Spring Breaks we spent with Aunt Mary in Palm Springs. She was always so much fun, always laughing and singing. I’m so grateful she is in a better place. She will be missed.

I am so deeply saddened to hear of Mary's struggle with Alzheimer's and her passing. She was a boss and mentor to me and we shared so many memories, love, laughter, and tears. John and Mari and family, please know that my heart is with you. My own mother died from complications from Alzheimer's and I know firsthand how heartbreaking and emotionally devastating that journey is for everyone involved. I look forward to joining you for the memorial service when everyone can safely congregate again. I am sure that there are many, many people touched by Mary over the years who would be grateful to pay their respects.
Sincerely, Nancy Kartholl
