Obituary for Janet Marie Smith
Janet Marie Smith, 78 passed away April 20, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born July 1, 1938 in Noble Co. to Lloyd and Elva (Scharnep) Striggle. She married Harland Smith on April 2, 1960, he preceded her in death on December 7, 1996. She Graduated from Wolf Lake High School in 1956. She was a secretary at Heritage Food Services. She was a member of Life Bridge Church in Fort Wayne. Former member of Calvary Temple Worship Center. Hobbies include Gardening, loved flowers and going to church.
Survivers include 3 sons Kevin (Susan), Brent Smith, Kerry (Rhonda) all from Fort Wayne, IN, brother Gene Striggle of Auburn, Ruth Ball of Swan, IN, grandchildren Heather Foster, Joshua Smith Ryan Smith, Amber Wood, Ashley Wiggins, Zachary Smith, Jonathan Smith, Great Grandchildren Adalyn Wood, Madeline Foster, Rue and Amelia Wiggins, Annabelle Wood.
Funeral Services will be 10:00am Monday April 24, 2017 at FairHaven Funeral Home 6557 N. Clinton Street Fort Wayne, IN 46825 with viewing one hour prior from 9-10. Visitation will be Sunday 2-6p.m., April 23, 2017, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Eberhard Cemetery Columbia City, IN.
