Obituary for James Art

James E. Art, 72, passed away May 25, 2017. James was born in Celina, Ohio. He was the son of Henry and Lucina Art.

James was a Member of St. Henry Catholic Church. He retired from International Harvester.
He was an Antique collector of Mighty Mouse Memorabilia. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving is wife Nancy Art, sons; Thaddeus Art, Nathan (Kathy) Art, Jeremy Art, Jason (Ann) Art, Joshua (Tracy) Art, Lucas (Delanie) Art, daughter, Elizabeth (Don) Brecht, son in law Mike DeVore, brothers; Leroy Art, Robert Art, Ralph (Carol) Art, sisters, catherine Birley, Clara Forsthoefel, Jeanne (Dennis) Gebele, 27 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother John Art, sisters Mary Hundley, Ruth Grieshop, daughter, Melissa DeVore and 4 grandchildren.

A Requiem Mass will be held at St. Henry Catholic Church 2929 East Paulding Road on Tuesday June 6, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with calling from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the mass. Memorial contributions may be made to Alcoholic Anonymous inner group. Inurnment in Catholic Cemetery
