Obituary for Jack Robinson

Jackie Lee “Jack” Robinson, 78, passed away April 1, 2017. Jackie was born in Portland, IN. He was the son of John S. Robinson and Violet V. Robinson.

Jackie was a veteran of the United States Army reserves. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 241. He was a proud member of the Sheriff’s Department reserves and Masonic Lodge. One of his greatest loves was stock car racing at South Anthony Speedway and local tracks. He retired from International Harvester in Fort Wayne, IN After retiring he enjoyed flea marketing.

Surviving is his wife, Mary Lou Robinson; daughters Debbie (Mark) Leiendecker and Wendy L. Robinson, one son, Mike (Bari) Robinson; brothers Johnnie Robinson and Royal Robinson; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren that adored him deeply and were proud to call him grandpa. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Carl Robinson and one sister Carolyn Shugert.

A Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. noon with two hours of calling from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon at FairHaven Funeral Home 6557 N. Clinton Street Fort Wayne, IN 46825 Burial will be at Praire Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Heartland Hospice or Masonic Lodge.
