Wanda M. Conrad, 98, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019. Born in Lawrenceville, Illinois, Wanda was the daughter of the late Eldred and Rose Baker. Wanda was a Registered Nurse in Bedford, Indiana, prior to working at Terre Haute Regional for a total of 50 years, prior to her retirement. Besides being the best mom she was a wonderful pie baker. Wanda also enjoyed embroidery and spending time with her family. Surviving are her children, John “Andy” (Frances) Conrad, Jayne (Gary) Kehoe, Mary Elizabeth (Doug) Hiatt, Joanie (Larry) Dunn; grandchildren, Nicole (Jim) Markle, Cherie Hiatt, Ashley Dunn, Nolan Dunn; five great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Bernard Conrad; and sister Marie Mercer. Mass of Christian Ressurection is 10:30 am, Friday, November 8, 2019 at St. Anne Home Chapel with calling one hour prior. Memorials may be made to Clay County Humane Society.
