Sweet, Sweet Wanda! I so loved her. I was a new relatively new RN when I met Wanda. She was a wonderful mentor and friend. I learned so many great things from her I still use today. I have been at Terre Haute Regional Hospital for 38 years. I have a inner chuckle when I do something that reminds me of her. One of the fondest was how she called everyone "Dear". So many times I just smile when I am doing the same now.
I always enjoyed receiving a birthday card and Christmas card with a note about the family. I in turn, would do the same. It was so nice to keep up with the family. When reading her obituary just now, visuals of each son and daughter came to life again for me. She was so proud of each of you!
I am so sorry for your loss. She was a lady in every detail. I will miss her dearly!
