Obituary for Tryston Ray-Alan Clemenz

Tryston Ray-Alan Clemenz, 20, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023. Tryston was born to Ricky and Aquilla Clemenz on October 04, 2002 in Fort Bragg, NC. He was a graduate of Fuquay-Varina High School, Class of 2021 and an attending Junior, majoring in Psychology at Indiana University Bloomington. Tryston is well- known for being a military brat that has lived from the East coast of North Carolina to the West coast of California and in-between. Tryston was an avid video/computer gamer, football player, baseball player, and a devoted Indianapolis Colts' fan. He enjoyed journaling, writing lyrics, and producing beats. Tryston always had the most amazing spirit, determination, and sought to empathize with anyone who encountered him. Tryston was delving into his spirituality and his purpose in life, while being focused on being considerate and a comfort to others. He was the most amazing, loving, affectionate son, brother, and friend to all who have had the pleasure of knowing him. Tryston’s spirit is forever in our hearts and memories.

Tryston is survived by his parents, Ricky and Aquilla Clemenz; brother, Kyle Clemenz; sisters, Taylyr (Alex) Clemenz, Taryn (Anthony) Rodriguez, and Kryston Mae Clemenz; three nephews, Ellyiot, Ezra, and Grayson; three nieces, Brooklyn, Atalia, and Payton-Jo; eight uncles, Anthony (Mary), Bernard (Cristy), Doffice, William (Nyla), Mark (Jenny), Mike (Pam), Brian (Cody) and Dale; eight aunts, Ella Mae, Myra, Ardrilla, Monica, Terry (Keith), Kathleen (Greg), Wendy (Donald), and Michelle (Gene); a host of cousins; and so many lifelong special friends.

Tryston was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Archie and Susie Smothers; paternal grandfather, Michael Clemenz; two uncles, Jimmie and John; two aunts, Louise and Barbra Jean.
Funeral services for Tryston will be held on Saturday July 1st ,2023 at 2 pm with visitation 2 hours prior beginning at 12 pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St in Fort Wayne, IN. A reception will be held on Saturday from 3-5pm at Ceruti’s Summit Room located at 6601 Innovation Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46818.
