Obituary for Tracy Alan Tindall

Tracy A. Tindall, 50, of Fort Wayne, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday August 20th, 2023.  Tracy graduated from Churubusco High School class of 1991. Tracy was a devoted servant and follower of Christ. He volunteered in many roles over the years including; as an Armor Bearer for Pastor Jay Scott, he was involved in children’s ministry at The Chapel, as well as Celebrate Recovery.  Tracy served at Kingdom Collective, and Prayer Works Downtown, and in the Prayer Room at Pine Hills Church. He coached youth baseball and basketball and loved attending his niece’s and nephew’s sporting events. He could always be counted on to prepare a good meal for family gatherings whether he was trying a new recipe, or a family favorite. When his father became ill, Tracy became his caretaker for a couple of years, and was able to share his love of the Lord with his father.  Tracy was an avid fan of Los Angeles Lakers, Washington Commanders, and New York Mets.

  Tracy is survived by his mother, Linda (Michael) Omspach of Ft Wayne; sister, Shannon (Tim) Brinneman of Ft Wayne; brother, Drew (Marsha) Tindall of Roanoke; half siblings, Rick (Theresa) Tindall, and Brad Tindall; nieces and nephews, Grant Brinneman, Brooke Brinneman, Brian Brinneman, Addison Tindall, Ava Tindall, Lyla Tindall, Lucy Tindall. He was preceded in death by his father, Tim Tindall; grandparents, Arthur and Irma Gerhardstein, and Jean and Paul Tindall; and his faithful dog friend, Sampson.

Funeral service for Tracy will be on Sunday August 27th 2023 at 4 pm with visitation 3 hours prior, beginning at 1 pm, all at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. Preferred memorials in Tracy’s honor may be directed to The Prayer Works Fort Wayne.
