Tommy Kirkwood, 72, passed away, Sunday, May 29, 2022. Born in Greenfield, Indiana, Tommy was a son of the late William “Jack” and Thelma “Lillian” Kirkwood. Tommy proudly served our country in the U.S. Army. He owned and operated American Performance for many years. He absolutely loved riding his Harley each and everyday possible. Tommy enjoyed taking motorcycle trips with his wife. He also enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, and spending time with his grandchildren and friends. Surviving are his wife, Rhonda (Norton) Lovett Kirkwood; son, Neal Kirkwood; step-sons, Troy (Trisha) Lovett, Nathan (Emily) Lovett; 4 grandchildren; his dog Ruby; many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Tommy was preceded in death by his siblings, Thelma "Frances" Kirkwood Glascock, and Billy "Bill" Wayne Kirkwood; along with his dog, Abby, and cat, Spot. Service is 4 pm, Sunday, June 5, 2022 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling from 1 pm until the service. A graveside service will be Monday, June 6, 2022 at 1 pm in Park Cemetery, Greenfield, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Humane Fort Wayne.
