Timothy "Timmie" Lee Cotton, age 65, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away February 10, 2024 at his home. He was born in Fort Wayne to Jimmie and Odis (Wims) Cotton and attended Wayne High School. Timmie was baptized at an early age at Progressive Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Jesse White. He worked as a cook at Cheddars and years later at B.J. 's Seafood Heaven before retiring in 2023. Timmie loved to fish, play the lottery, enjoy a good laugh, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. Timmie is survived by his mother, Odis (Wims-Cotton) Lane; children, Timothy J. Cotton and Shaquek R. Cotton; grandchildren, Timothy Cotton, Jr., Cha'niyah, Trevyon, Kareem Cotton, LaTavious Jones, Leiyonna, Devonie, Deviyonna, and Jerelle Cotton; siblings, Keith J. Wims, Karen Cotton, Patricia Cotton, Patrick Cotton, and Steve Cotton; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Cotton; and his twin brother, Jimmie Lee Cotton. Service is 2:00 pm, Friday, February 16, 2024 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N.
