Steven Edward “Steve” Clemmer, 81 passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana Steve was a son of the late John and Helen Clemmer. Steve graduated from Central Catholic High School. During his working years, Steve worked for his family businesses at the Hobby House and KFC on Fairfield Avenue, prior to his career as a realtor. Steve loved working and enjoyed tending to his rental properties throughout the years. He and his family enjoyed many years at their Lake House on Coldwater Lake, where Steve enjoyed water skiing. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, MaryAnn Clemmer; sons, Eric (Beth) Clemmer, Ron (Colleen) Clemmer, Steven “Scott” Clemmer; grandchildren, Sarah (Jeremy) Hurst, Laura (Chad) Rassi, Amanda (Josh) Hurst, Cory (Serena) Clemmer; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Michael (Nancy) Clemmer, and sister-in-law, Nancy Clemmer. A Memorial Service will be 11 am, Friday, June 17, 2022 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling one hour prior. Calling also Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. The family of Steve would like to extend a special thank you to the Fort Wayne Police and Fire Department for their diligent and kind efforts in handling Steve.
