Obituary for Steven C. Archer

Steven C Archer, 55, of Fort Wayne passed away unexpectedly on May 6, 2021 in Fort Wayne. He was born on February 1, 1966 and was a lifelong drywall tradesman. His family and friends will always remember him for his infectious laugh, big heart, and his genuine kindness for everyone he knew and loved. He fought an uphill battle the last three years of his life but always maintained a positive attitude and outlook. He was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan and loved his classic rock music.

Steven is survived by his parents, Linda (Trig) Hopper of New Haven, IN and David (Diane) Archer of Cape Coral, FL; son, Nicholas (Ashley) Archer of Fort Wayne; daughter, Barbara Jean Archer of Dalton, Ga; brothers, Shawn (Cyndi) Archer of New Haven, IN and Stacy Archer of Fort Wayne; sisters, Julie (Jack) Henline of Fort Wayne, Sherie (Greg) Leazier of Churubusco, IN, Kimberley Archer of Fort Wayne, and Rhonda (Keith) Foreman of Fort Wayne. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren that he loved deeply, Rosemarie Archer, Elizabeth Archer, David Sloane, William Mckee, and Iziah Brislenn; numerous nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews who always knew “Uncle Steve” loved them. He was preceeded in death by a brother, Jeffery in 2011.
