Sidonie Dee Inman, 73, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023. Born in Lafayette, Indiana Sinonie was a daughter of the late Earl and Roberta Keller. Sidonie was a dedicated employee of Allen County Government for 30 years. During her years there, she worked for the Sheriff’s Department, Board of Commissioners, the Auditor’s Office and lastly for her final 13 years, Operations Manager for the County Maintenance Department. She oversaw several projects, earning the respect of Elected Officials, and was an inspiration to her fellow employees. The Board of Commissioners established July 8, 2011 as “Sidonie Inman Day.” Sidonie was talented in many things but one of her greatest was her creativity and imagination. With those attributes she created beautiful crystal gemstone jewelry. She had a love for crafts, and each day she would create pieces of beauty. Sidonie had free script handwriting that in itself was a work of art. She would always donate and volunteer her skills to anyone in need. Sidonie and her husband Lane loved their 3 day vacations through the years together. Surviving are her husband, Lane Inman; children, Kurt (Jennifer Holle) Keller, Lesli (Louis Jr.) Landerer, Terena (Scott) Kumfer, Chad Inman, Scott (Julie) Inman; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Earlene Cunegin, and Kurt O. (Kathy) Keller. Sidonie was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Indigo Inman. Service will be 7 pm, Monday, January 23, 2023 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling from 5 pm until the service. A private graveside service will take place in Prospect Cemetery, Uniondale, Indiana.
