Ron was my coach at St Joe Little League on Coca Cola back in the late 1970s for a couple years. I lost touch with him after that along with his son, Brian, who also played on the team. Although i was lousy at baseball, Ron tried to help me get better and for that, I'm grateful. He was the first one to congratulate me after i had my best hit ever. I cherish those childhood days that I shared playing for Ron, and am sorry to learn of his passing. Peace to Coach and his family, - Dan Howe

While he was not a member of our Detachment, he was a Marine. Ron, we have your watch. Rest easy. Fair seas and following winds. Until Valhalla. Semper Fidelis.
