Rockford "Rocky" J. Stout Jr., 63, of Fort Wayne IN, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA to the late Rockford J. Stout Sr. and Pearl A. Stout of White Hall, PA.
As a child Rocky lived in many places including Spain because his father was in the Navy. He loved to play baseball and was an avid skier. In his adult life he coached many sports teams including Snider High School JV Soccer Team and was the president of St. Joe Soccer for many years. Rocky worked at Wise Business Forms for more than 25 years and ran his own small lawn business. He could fix anything and loved helping others. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and just about any form of motorsports. Rocky was most proud of his family and loved to create amazing living spaces for his family and friends. Rocky met his beautiful wife of 42 years, Patricia while working as an optician and a volunteer fireman in Mt. Top, PA. They made their life in Fort Wayne and had 3 children, Lisa (Patrick) Schweigel of Cedar Falls, IA; Rockford Harrison Stout, II of Fort Wayne, IN; Ashlie (Jaime Sanders) Stout of Fort Wayne; and seven grandchildren. Rocky was the oldest of three children, his sister, Michele (Andrew) McCloskey of White Hall, PA and late sister, Deborah Waltich of Pringle, PA.
