To Phil's Family
Phil and I spent too much time at Scotts bowling alley, playing pool and pinball in the early 60's; 'some' of that time maybe we should have been in class ! In the late 70's to mid 80's our kids were playing soccer at the Club and the original Pepsi League, then the Select league and Travel teams. Phil was always there.
In the 2010's, I was back at the Club with my grandkids both on the field and working on the fields. I was there a lot. Phil was always there.
Finally, after retiring from the fields, I started to help out in the clubhouse. That was way more work than I expected ! Phil was always there, too.
Anytime I'm on a field, I'll always feel like Phil will be there.
