Obituary for Patricia Ann "Patti" Fouts (Love)

Patricia A. “Patti” Fouts (Love) of Fort Wayne (Harlan), 71, passed to the Arms of Jesus on Sunday, December 6, 2020, due to complications resulting from Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma Chemotherapy Treatments (non-COVID related). Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Patti was the daughter of the late Walter Love and Elsie Love who survives. Patti graduated from Woodlan High School and later in life, earned her Associates degree in Accounting from IVY Tech. During her working years she was a bookkeeper and administrative assistant for several companies, most-recently Office Administrator for SCORE of Fort Wayne. Patti worked and was an active partner in many ways with the Girl Scouts of America (Limberlost Council): Camp Logan Director, Troop Leader, Paid Admin Staff, Cookie Mgr. +.. On a perfect day, Patti enjoyed being outdoors in her large yard & garden, watching the wildlife, playing with her dog Lacy, and especially watching the birds. In earlier years, she enjoyed camping, hiking, and traveling to see family in OH & CO, as well as many a State Parks throughout the Region. Surviving are her mother, Elsie Love; children, Rita (Rogers) Bulegeya (of Masaka, Uganda), Robert (Jaqueline) Bennett (of CO Springs), Darrik (Krystal) Fouts (of South Bend), Dacia Rodriguez (of Niles, MI); 8 grandchildren; siblings, Chris (Frank) Hartman (of St. Joe), Frank Love (of Harlan), and Lisa (Brad) Wickham-Love (of Dacono, CO). Due to Covid-19 the family will be having private services at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Patti’s ashes will be interned, along w/ Mike’s, in a Fouts Family Cemetery in Cass County, IN (near Logansport). For those who would like to attend the service virtually, the service will be streamed on FairHaven’s Facebook page on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 6 pm.
