Pamela Putt, 80, of Fort Wayne passed away with both of her daughters by her side. She was born to the late Laura and Jim Thomas. Pam graduated from Southside High School and her licensed practical nurses training in 1962. She worked as an office nurse in Fort Wayne, and as a medical surgical nurse at East Town Osteopathic Hospital in Dallas, Texas and our local Lutheran Hospital, retiring from Lutheran in 2005. She met her husband, Terry in June 1967. Together they welcomed Jennifer in 1973 and her husband Kevin in 2015. Terry and Pam spent 50 years together prior to his passing in 2018. Pam loved a great cup of coffee, her 1 allowed cigarette of the day, cooking, going out to eat with family and friends and taking care of her two cats, Suzette and Sophie. Her greatest achievement by far was bringing both of her daughters together before she passed. She was able to meet her oldest daughter, Kim, for the first time in August 2022. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Kevin) Thomas of Fort Wayne as well as her newly found and always loved daughter Kimberly Reeder of McKinney, Texas; Kimberly’s children Tyler (Nina), Garrett and Holland; Kimberly’s grandchildren Nora, Evan, Dakota, Sage and Sebastian; late brother Jon’s wife, Mary; late sister’s daughter Pam (Paul); Terry’s brother Mike (Barb); many nieces and nephews in the local Fort Wayne area, Kentucky and Maryland; cousins in Indiana, Kansas and Pennsylvania; and very dear friend, Joyce Miller. Service is 11 am, Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling one hour prior. Calling also at the funeral home Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 4 pm to 8 pm. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
