Mitchel Alan “Mitch” Waddle, 62, has gone to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 11, 2023. He was born in Franklin County, Lockbourne Air Force, Base in Columbus Ohio, December 14, 1960, a son of the late Orn “Tom” Waddle and Shirley L. (Fewell-Waddle) Bash who survives. Mitch graduated from Van Wert High School, class of 1979 and earned his degree from ITT in Fort Wayne, class of 1981. He worked for K Buildings in Elgin Ohio. Mitch was a true “Car Guy.” He was an avid Mopar enthusiast, always wrenching on cars and carrying the car guy smell of oil and WD40. Mitch enjoyed listening to the class rock icons of Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. Surviving are his mother, Shirley; step-father, Clayton Bash; sisters, Mona L. (Mark) Scheidt of Van Wert, Melanie S. (Steve) Workman of Fort Wayne; nieces and nephews; Lauren K. Scheidt, Rachael M. (Josh) Haas, Ben Scheidt, Jacob A. (Caitlin) Scheidt, Nicole E. (Austin) Waters, Maria J. (Grant) Kenans, Angelia J. Workman; grandnieces and nephews, Alexander, Abigail Scheidt, Ezra, Judah, Micah Haas, Rhett, Callum Waters, Milo, Bodie Kenans, and Eleanor Scheidt. Mitch was preceded in death by his great-nephew, Reid Thomas Waters in 2018. Private Family Services. Burial in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, Ohio.
