Obituary for Medford A. Wynn Jr.
Medford (Buster) A. Wynn, Jr., of Leo, IN, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. He was born on June 2, 1937, in Toledo, OH to the late Meford A. Wynn and Edna Smith. Medford retired from City Utilities in 1995 after a 40-year career. Medford loved sports and he coached PAL hockey for years and he was a huge fan of IU basketball. He was an animal lover who had many beloved pets throughout his life. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and card games with his family. Medford was a member of the American Legion where he enjoyed socializing with everyone.
Medford is survived by his loving wife, Lynn; his sister, Judy Jarrell; children, Rick (Jayne) Wynn, Michele (James) Crall, Glenn (Judy) Wynn, Jennifer Reese, and Jana Wynn; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. Medford was preceded in death by his brothers, Glenn and Darrell; sisters, Margaret Jean and Jacqueline; and son, Jason. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
