Mary Ann Cooney, 74, passed away Friday, October 19, 2018. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Mary Ann was the daughter of the late Edward and Yolanda Snead. Mary Ann worked in both the healthcare and food service industries during her working career until her retirement. She could frequently be found with a McDonald’s coffee, playing with her tablet, binge watching tv and horror movies, along with playing her word puzzles. Mary Ann loved her family and cherished her time spent with them. Surviving are her husband Richard Charles Cooney; children, Christopher (Katie) Sears, Melissa (Derrick) Wildstar, Richard Todd (Sarah) Cooney; grandchildren, Alexander Sears, Austin and Alexander Cooney. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her brother Edward Cedroni. A Private Family Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mary Ann Cooney. Calling will be at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 6557 N. Clinton St, on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 1 pm to 5 pm. Memorials for the continued care of Mary Ann’s husband Richard in care of Richard Todd Cooney.
