Mary Eldonna Blacketor, 90, passed away June 7, 2021 in Ft. Wayne Indiana. Born in Miami County Indiana on November 29, 1930. Eldonna was the daughter of the late Calvin Earl and Mabel Baber. She enriched the lives of all who knew her with her kind nature and incredible wit. She became a registered nurse in 1952, graduating from Methodist Hospital’s School of Nursing in Indianapolis. Survivors include her sons, Brad Blacketor of Lone Tree Colorado, Brian of Crooked Lake, John (Abbe) of Hinsdale Illinois, Rod (Candi) of Peoria Arizona, Tom of Ft. Wayne; 6 grandchildren, Alex, Eli, Jake, Sydney, Ross, Elaina; sister Nancy, brother Kenny numerous nieces and nephews. Eldonna preceded in death by her husband Donald and brothers Bill and Dick. Family graveside services and burial will be held at the IOOF Cemetery in Rochester. Preferred memorials to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
