Mary Ann Roemer Hile, 80, passed away September 1, 2018 in Fort Wayne. She was born in Fort Wayne to the late Frederick and Irene Geise. She graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1956. Mary Ann worked at Visiting Nurse Services for 24 years and at Indiana Tech for 10 years, retiring from there in 2004. Most recently she worked for D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home for 14 years. She loved her family dearly, and also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting. She is survived by her children, Debra (David) Stoops and David (Lisa) Roemer; John's children, Deb (John) Didion, Julie (Kevin) Knoch, Mary (Tony) Turner, and David (Trina) Hile; 15 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Roemer; second husband, John Hile; son Daniel Roemer; and one grandchild. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00 am, Saturday, September 8 , 2018 at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, 1122 S. Clinton St., with calling beginning at 9:00 am at FairHaven Funeral Home, 6557 N. Clinton St. Calling also Friday, September 7, 2018 from 2:00 pm - 5:00pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home with a Rosary service at 4:30 pm. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
