Obituary for Mark Louis Krueger

Mark L. Krueger, 64, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus, on Monday, November 19, 2018. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Mark was the son of the late Reinhart and Norma Krueger. He earned his Bachelors degree from Elmhurst College in Illinois. Mark was blessed with a very outgoing personality that enabled him to connect with others and share the love and grace of God. He was the founder of Gentle Warrior, a Christ centered exercise and martial art program, that he developed to help people strengthen their spirit, mind, and body. He also spent many years at Fred Myers Pianos and Clocks, and most recently worked at Benchmark Human Services. Mark was a family man, and loved sharing God's creation by going on outdoor adventures with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed tennis, racquetball, chess, table tennis. His daily routine included coffee at Hall's and time studying at the library. Mark was concerned with keeping the community safe and was always looking for a way to help someone. Surviving is his wife of 32 years, Peggy Krueger; children, Katie (Jon) Berghoff, Matthew Krueger, Caleb Krueger, Josiah Krueger, Anna Krueger; grandchildren, Tommy, Nathan, Lily; sisters, Norma (Hank) Blank and Linda (Rev. Dr. Eric) Stumpf. Service is 11 am, Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at St. Michael Lutheran Church with calling one hour prior. Calling will be at FairHaven Funeral Home, 6557 N. Clinton Street, Monday, November 26, 2018 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to Women’s Care Center.
