Louise E. Bell, age 87, passed away October 11, 2018 in Fort Wayne. She was born in Fort Wayne to the late Ralph and Lucia Romano. Most recently she worked at Magnavox before retiring. Louise will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who always put the needs of others first. Her feisty personality and the way she brought joy to others will always be remembered. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Charles R. Bell of Fort Wayne; sons, Steven Bell and David Bell both of Fort Wayne; granddaughters, Jennifer (Doug) Brand-Davis of Kendalleville, IN, Erin (Andrew) Paino of Fort Wayne; Melissa (Michael) Schneider of Spencerville, IN, and Jessica (Mel) Hamed of Fort Wayne; grandsons, Charles S. Bell of Clearwater, FL and Shawn (Christy) Asher of Hicksville, OH; 7 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Josephine Romano of Fort Wayne and Mary Dermyer of Michigan. Louise was preceded in death by her 5 siblings. Service is 10:30 am, Monday, October 15, 2018 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St, with calling one-hour prior. Calling also Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial in Huntertown Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family for the continuing care of her husband.
