Obituary for Linda Kaye Farrer (Chapman)

Linda K. (Chapman) Farrer, 66, born on September 14, 1955, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022. Born in Bryan, Ohio, but she spent most of her life in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She also had the opportunity to live in Texas, California, and China. She graduated from Concordia High School and went on to earn her bachelor's degree in nursing from IPFW. She started her nursing career at State School and retired as the Director of Nursing at Easter Seals ARC of NE Indiana. Linda was a caregiver by nature and was committed to her job, coworkers, and the many clients she cared for over the years. She loved flowers, cooking, the color purple, watching HGTV and murder mystery tv shows. She cherished being around her family and good friends. Surviving are her father, Henry Chapman; her daughter, Ericka (Adam) Lewon; granddaughter, Anzley Lewon along with one on the way; companion Daniel Replogle, siblings, Cynthia (Derrick) Moore, John Chapman, Vincent (Renee) Williams, Kristi Williams; along with many nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded to Glory by her mother, Barbara Williams; husband, William Farrer; daughter, Alexis Farrer; and siblings, Dawn Chapman and Randy Chapman. Service is 4 pm, Friday, August 12, 2022 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling from 2 pm until the services. The family would like to thank, Connie DiFilippo a close friend for many years for her continued care, and supportive love to Linda and family during her illness. Memorials may be made to Easter Seals ARC of NE Indiana or GiGi’s Playhouse Fort Wayne. Although gone from our arms, you will forever be in our hearts.
