Kevin Scott Gerig, 61, of Leo, Indiana, died February 17, 2022 surrounded by his family. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Kevin was a son of the late Robert Gerig and Beverly (Kees) Wilhelm who survives. Kevin was a mechanic during his working years and had a love for cars and attending car shows. Kevin is survived by his three daughters, Kristina Gerig, Diana (Joshua) Sherry, and Kathryn (Joshua) Burt; 10 grandchildren, Elizabeth Gerig; Colin and Connor Wickliffe; Kirsten, Dylan, Hayden Sherry; Felicity, Shelby, Maverick, and Calister Burt; nieces, Jill Grueb, Haley Carlisle and nephew, Brad Gerig; brothers, Rod (Deb) Gerig, and Lynn (Shelly) Gerig; and his mother Beverly and step-father, Karl Wilhelm. Kevin will be honored with a service at 11 am, Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Central Ministries, 5801 Schwartz Road, with calling one hour prior. Following immediately is a lunch provided by the church.
