John S. Gasper, of Leo, passed away on Saturday,with his loving wife by his side. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, John served his country in the Air Force during the Korean War. John is survived by his wife Christine; Son, Steve of CT; Daughter, Barbara McKown of AZ; sister, Ann Altavilla of PA; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by son, John Jr. of AZ. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, at 11 AM at St Vincent De Paul Catholic Church with calling 1 hour prior, 1502 E Wallen Road, calling also on Friday from 4-7PM at FairHaven Funeral and Cremation Services, 6557 N Clinton in Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials may be made in John’s honor to The Wounded Warrior Project.
