Jerry K. Davis, 81, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022. Born in Syracuse, Indiana, Jerry was the son of the late Earl and Glendora Davis. Jerry graduated from Syracuse High School. Jerry served our country proudly for four years in the U.S. Navy, as a diver. He worked for GTE and Lincoln Life Insurance Company as a communications technician during his working career. He spent time volunteering at the VA and St. Mary’s Soup Kitchen. Jerry loved working on his Jeeps, building large pirate ships and spending time with his family. Surviving are his children, Tami (Mark) Clouse, Tad (Valerie) Davis; grandchildren, Dominic, Drew, Dane, Ali and Gavin; longtime friend, Sharon Cole; along with several nieces and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Mock. Service is 4 pm, Sunday, December 11, 2022 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling from 2 pm until the service. Burial in Marion National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the St. Mary’s Soup Kitchen.
