Obituary for Janet Louise Pape (Camp)

Janet Louise Pape,83, drew her last breath on Monday, May 31, 2021, with her family at her bedside, reminiscing her life well lived. Born April 13, 1938, she was a beloved friend, sister, mother and nana to her family. Stories spoked were like, the bus driver telling the other kids to quiet up so the “Camp twins” could sing. They would harmonize and sing on the way to school. We are faithful that she is singing again with her parents and siblings in heaven. She was a very proud registered nurse and caregiver for many years. Working both for Parkview Hospital and in home health care. She was a graduate from Parkview School of Nursing in 1959. She is survived by three sons, Robert Pape, Michael (Tonya) Pape and John (Joy) Pape all of Fort Wayne; one sister Janice (Jim) Gnagy of Hamilton; nine grandchildren, Leslie, Roberta, Amber, Brittney, Ethan, Brandon, Erica, Logan, and Nicole; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elvin and Irenus Camp; ten siblings; one granddaughter, Lindsay; and two great-grandsons, Austin and Thompson. Service is 11 am, Thursday June 10, 2021 at Concordia Cemetery Gardens Chapel, 5365 Lake Avenue, with calling from 10:30 until the service. In lieu of flowers, please do something nice for someone else. FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services is handling arrangements.
