James T. Rolleston passed away September 28th at Parkview Regional Hospital. He was born on Long Island, NY January 26th, 1950, to Thomas and Viginia Rolleston. Jim grew up in Bethpage, NY met and married his high school sweetheart Cynthia Schafer on August 19, 1972. They were married for 51 years and have two sons, Patrick James of Bear River City, UT and Jason Michael (Khristy) of Ft. Wayne, IN. He is survived by his wife and sons; brother Keith Rolleston (Ellen) of Tarpon Springs, FL and the joy of his later life, his two granddaughters Joanna and Maggie. Jim graduated from SUNY at Farmingdale with a degree in accounting. Jim moved to Fort Wayne, IN in 1975 and held several sales and accounting positions before opening his own accounting and tax business in 1988, Summit Tax Service. He retired in 2016. A private pilot at the age of 21, he enjoyed flying, motorcycling, camping, caving, and traveling especially to National Parks & monuments. He was mechanical and creative having built two camping trailers and renovating a 1962 Airstream. He was a loving and supportive father and husband. A trusted business partner to all his clients. A loyal friend to many, he stayed connected with the friends he made throughout his life. He will be missed. A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday October 8th 2023 at 3:00 pm with memorial visitation beginning at 2:00 pm, at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St.
