Obituary for James Alan Jackson

James “Jim” Alan Jackson, 67, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. Born in Logansport, Indiana, Jim was a son of the late James M. Jackson and Helen Grubb. Jim graduated from Logansport High School and earned his bachelors degree in accounting and business at BSU. During his working years, Jim served as the CEO of All American Homes in Decatur for 25 years, CEO of Pinnacle in Elkhart, and most recently served as the GM and Accountant for B&W Equipment. Jim was the definition of a family man. He coached his children in their basketball and soccer teams throughout school. Jim loved to watch his children and grandchildren in all their sporting activities and cheerleading. Jim was truly an outdoors man. He loved being in a deer stand, target shooting, and fishing with his grandsons. Jim loved his Corvettes over the years. He was a past member of Fellowship Missionary Church and a current member of Pathway Community Church. Surviving are his high school sweetheart and wife of almost 50 years, Gwendolyn “Gwen” Jackson; children, Sarah Caskey, Brandon Jackson, Jennifer Jackson, Adam Jackson; grandchildren, Jasmine, Ethan, Connor; sisters, Linda (Steven) Huntley, and Barb Burrous. Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Jackson. Service is Monday 11 am, March 13, 2023 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street with calling one hour prior. Calling also Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 2 pm to 6 pm at the funeral home. Burial in Huntertown Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Harvest Food Bank.
