Jacob Sperry, 28, of Fort Wayne, passed away on November 4th. Born in Crawfordsville, IN, to Michael and Vicki Sperry. Jacob was a 2011 graduate of Northrop High School, He studied creative writing at Ball State University where he enjoyed being a part of the CRU ministry. He spent his summers working at Lost Valley Ranch in Colorado where he enjoyed hiking in the mountains in his free time. Jacob was also a graduate of IVY Tech Community College with an associate degree in Network Infrastructure. He was an IT technician, most recently employed by Bradford-Scott Data Corporation. Jacob was a member of Pathway Community Church and played in the church worship band. He was an accomplished classical and improv pianist. In his free time, he enjoyed building computer networks, spending time outdoors, hiking, and climbing mountains in Colorado. He will be remembered for his dry wit and sense of humor. Jacob is survived by his parents; brothers, Caleb and Wesley of Fort Wayne; grandparents, Don and Dottie” Mummu” Sperry. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Winnie and Don Drumm. Funeral Service for Jacob will be at Pathway Community Church (1010 Carroll Rd.) on Thursday, November 12th at 11 am with visitation 1 hour prior. Visitation will also be at church on Wednesday November 11th from 4-8 pm. Preferred memorials in Jacob’s honor may be directed to Pathway Community Church C/O PCC Worship Dept.
