Obituary for Henry "David" Freon

Henry "David" Freon, age 59, passed away peacefully September 19, 2022 in Fort Wayne. He was born September 24, 1962 to Henry P. Freon and Sandra Stephan, both survive. David was born, raised, and lived in Fort Wayne and attended Northrop High School graduating in 1981. He later became the head coach of the Northop Girls Softball team. David was a certified head referee for the Indiana High School Athletic Department, but his love was girls softball. He worked as an HVAC technician with several local companies and retired as a maintenance supervisor at Trinity Episcopal Church. David proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy. David loved and enjoyed spending time with his dogs, Harley, Bella, and Maximus. He was an active member of the 3 Rivers H.O.G. chapter and loved riding with his Harley brothers and sisters. He also enjoyed time at his lake cottage, camping, traveling, and was a huge Notre Dame football fan! David is survived by his beloved wife, Lydia "Lilly" Freon; daughters, Amber (Vince) Konwinski, Ashley (Aaron) Wilson, and Andrea Freon; stepsons, Jeremy Coressel and Chad (Abbey) Coressel; grandchildren, Avery Wilson, Jackson and Alexander Konwinski; brother, Robert (Shannon) Freon; sisters, Chris Freon and Lynn (James) Weeks; and many cherished nieces and nephews. A celebration of life is 11:00 am - 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N.
