Obituary for Gordon Dale Kroeker

Gordon Dale Kroeker, 67, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus on Friday, December 9, 2022. Born in Kafumba in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gordon was the son of the late Robert and Wanda Kroeker. Gordon earned his bachelors degree in contemporary ministries and psychology from Fresno Pacific University and his masters of divinity in pastoral and world missions from Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary. He served as a Pastor in California and North Dakota, and Hospital Chaplain at Sanford Health and Railroad Chaplains of America. After his morning coffee, Gordon had his daily devotion in God’s Word. He loved his job in preaching the Word and helping others in need. Gordon loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, telling his “Dad Jokes.” He enjoyed trains, airplanes, and ice cream. Surviving are his wife, Luise Kroeker; daughters, Ruth (Jonathan) Stuber, Heather Kroeker; grandchildren, Thomas and Oliver; and sister, Cyndi (Merlin) Schnase, and brother-in-law John Musgrave. Gordon was preceded in death by his sister, Cherie Musgrave. Service is 11 am, Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Redeemer Baptist Church, 109 Moeller Road New Haven, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 4 pm to 7 pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, burial in Concordia Gardens Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana. A celebration of life for Gordon will be at the Fargo Air Museum in Fargo, North Dakota, January 21st, 2023, 5-9pm. Memorials may be made to Lumeya International Ministries, a ministry close to Gordon’s heart that equips pastors and evangelists in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
