Obituary for George F. Cutting Sr.

George Cutting, Sr. age 86, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 25th, 2018 in Fort Wayne. He was born in Lexington, NC to the late Lindsay and Leona Cutting. George worked with Falstaff Brewing Company also serving as a union steward for over 34 years. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Post 296 and VFW Post 10006. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Lucy Cutting; his children, Michael (Renee) Cutting, David Cutting, and George Cutting, Jr all of Fort Wayne; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; brother, Gene Cutting, and sister, Nancy Sue Everhart both of Lexington, NC. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Al, Bob, and Mary. Service is 2:00 pm, Monday, July 2, 2018 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., with calling two hours prior beginning at 12:00 noon. Memorials may be made to the Allen County SPCA, H.O.P.E. for Animals, or Southern Care Hospice.
