We were so sad to hear of Herb's passing. Steve has so many memories of working with him--some of them bring a smile to his face and make him chuckle. He always respected him as a boss. I recall some enjoyable work Christmas parties. Herb was such a fun and nice guy. We were pleasantly surprised to learn somewhat recently that he coached our granddaughter in track!!! What a small world! Please know your entire family is in our prayers. And since we can't give hugs in person, please accept virtual hugs!

Herb (a cousin once removed) and Margaret were great neighbors! They raised their kids to be well mannered and hard working. I don’t remember him ever complaining about his health issues. He coached several athletics and was also a good teacher. Rest In Peace, Herb!

Herbie was a dear friend. We shared many memories from high school and college. He loved his car and thought nothing of driving it from Arkansas to Bloomington IN for a weekend visit. Always kind and a true gentleman. Wonderful sense of humor. He loved children and sports so it's not surprising his life was dedicated to both. He was one of a kind and many of my fondest memories from HS include Herbie!!
