Obituary for Frederick Robert "Fritz" Grote
Frederick “Fritz” Robert Grote, 63, of New Haven, IN passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023. He was born on November 13, 1959 in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Paul and Beverly Grote.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Doris (Collins) Grote of New Haven, IN; son, Tim (Brittany) Grote of New Haven; daughter, Haley (Chris) White of Fort Wayne; three grandsons, Benson and Cooper Grote and Colin White; brother, Dave (Joni) Grote of Fort Wayne; sister, Gretchen Kelly of Fort Wayne and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Steve (Sophie) Grote.
Fritz was known for his many talents but especially his welding and fabrication. He had a love like no other for his 1971 Nova, Breyer’s Ice Cream, and his grand-boys.
A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Grote Residence.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Doris Grote.
