Ferdonna Andrew Wakeland, age 89, passed peacefully to her Lord on July 18. Born March 29, 1933. Donna’s world revolved around her family and faith. She was an active member of Bethel United Methodist church for nearly 30 years and worked as a receptionist for Dr. Richard Juergens until he retired, and then from Parkview
hospital.
Donna loved their trips to Hilton Head and to visit family in Tennessee. She created numerous bird
paintings and loved all flowers and country living. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Max
Wakeland; son Gary (Cyndi) Andrew; Max’s children, Mike (Cathie) Wakeland, Karen (Mike)
Schempf, Maryanne McClure, and Susan (Steve) Kanning. She was the loving grandmother to 4
grandchildren, Billy Leamon (Rae), Janelle Alford (Nick), Brett Andrew, and Jennifer Andrew. A loving great-grandmother to 8 grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson, and 17 step grandchildren which she
lovingly accepted as her own.
Ferdonna was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Andrew (2000) and her daughter, Susan Leamon
(2006).
Service is 1:00 pm, Friday July 22, 2022 at Bethel United Methodist Church, 8405 Lima Rd. with calling two hours prior beginning 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Riverview Cemetery.
