Emilie L. (Jackisch) Fox, 91, passed away on June 6, 2021 at Evergreen Village in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born Emilie L. Raatz on July 20, 1929 in Elkhart, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Ruth Raatz. She was employed by Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio and by the Allen County Welfare Department in Fort Wayne. She enjoyed participating in various choirs throughout her life and was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church. Her family was her true joy. Surviving are her children Rhonda (Jeff Morsches) Jackisch of Fort Wayne; Paul (Roger Hemund) Jackisch of Tavares, FL; and Barry (Ami) Jackisch of Fort Wayne; her grandchildren Jacob Azurdia (Denver, CO); Emily Morsches (Mount Vernon, OH); Caylie (James) Simon (Indianapolis); and Thomas Jackisch (Fort Wayne). She is also survived by her sister Ann (Rich) Spano of Ocala, FL and her sister-in-law Mary Raatz of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her brothers Robert Raatz and Paul “Tom” Raatz. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 10 at 2:30pm at Trinity English Lutheran Church (450 W. Washington Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46802) Visitation will take place before the service at the church on Thursday starting at 1pm. Private burial will take place at Concordia Gardens cemetery. As choral singing was her passion, memorials can be made in Emilie’s name to the music program at Trinity English Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne, IN.
