Donald P. Nobles, 79 of Ossian, IN surrounded by his loving family went home to the Lord on Monday, August 7, 2023. Don was born in Fort Wayne to Carl and Edna (Hart) Nobles. He graduated from South Side High School in 1962. He served with the Brethren Voluntary Service from 1964-1966 giving service in Europe by restoring a nursing home due to the war. He went on to work at GE in Fort Wayne where he met his beautiful wife, Linda (Stotler) Nobles. He retired from Superior Linkage/Tuthill after 25 years in 2010 and after retiring Don worked at Family Ford in Bluffton, IN. Don was a gentle, dedicated, and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a devoted servant of God and will be remembered for his teachings of his faith to his family and friends. His survivors include his loving wife, Linda of 55 years (8/4/23); daughter, Heather (Dan) Brockhouse of Fort Wayne and son, Jeremy (Chrissy) Nobles of Woodburn; six grandchildren, Elizabeth Brockhouse, Caroline Brockhouse (Dylan Cook), Quintin Nobles, and Aryssa Nobles (Aaron Ketzler). Don was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Roland and Noel Nobles. A Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 pm, Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Avalon Missionary Church at 1212 Lower Huntington Road; Fort Wayne, IN 46819 with calling one hour prior beginning at 11:00 am.
