Obituary for Donald Francis Fiorillo

Donald “Don” Fiorillo, 88, of Fort Wayne, passed away at Parkview Hospital Randallia on December 9th in the supportive care unit. Born in New York City, Don served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He lived in Detroit before moving to his adopted hometown of Fort Wayne. Don was a partner in his
own trucking company, Central Cities Freight Line (CCFL) in Columbia City where he was also VP of sales. Don’s passion was helping others as seen through his founding of the Feed My Sheep Food Bank Program associated with Good Shepard UMC benefitting the Beacon Heights Food Bank. He was also instrumental in the founding of Georgetown Little League and was the past president of the Fort Wayne Transportation Club. Don successfully recorded an incredible 5 hole in ones during his lifetime. He was also a member of American Legion Post 330. Don is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sally, Daughter, Rachel (Andy Stump) Fiorillo, and family in Florida, New York, Oklahoma, Texas and Tennessee. A memorial service for Don will take place at Good Shepard UMC 4700 Vance Ave, at 3 pm on Friday December 14th with calling 2 hours prior. In Lieu of flowers memorials in Don’s honor may be made to the Good Shepard UMC Feed My Sheep Program, the family also asks that visitors are invited to bring non perishable food items for donation as well.
