Diana K. Thiel, age 79, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022 in Fort Wayne. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Gerald and Lillian Hartman. Diana worked as a registered nurse for over 40 years with Parkview Randallia. She was a faithful member of Blackhawk Ministries, attended BSF, and most of all she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Diana is survived by her four children, Michael "Mick" Thiel of Fort Wayne, Steve (Sheila) Thiel of Fishers, IN, Sarah (Clint) Wisniewski of Fort Wayne, and Pete (Lisa) Thiel of Defiance, OH; 13 grandchildren, Mallory, Makenna, Olivia, Preston, Kate, Jill, Paul, Clay, Callie, Sydney, Ashley, Petey Jr., and Quinton; siblings, John Hartman of Fort Wayne, Annetta King of Fort Wayne, Bill (Jan) Hartman of Leo, IN, and Carma (Rick) Shoemaker of Spencerville, IN; and sister-in-law, Vicki Hartman.

Diana was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Paul "Mick" Thiel; and brother Harry Lee Hartman.

Service is 11:00 am, Monday, December 19, 2022 at Blackhawk Ministries, 7400 E. State Blvd, with calling one hour prior. Calling also 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 pm on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. Burial at Leo Memorial Cemetery.
