Obituary for Dennis Franklin "Denny" Hall

Dennis Franklin Hall, 79, took his first breath in heaven on Monday, February 19, 2024. He was born on April 6, 1944, in Fort Wayne, a son of the late Glenn Franklin and Eleen Hall. He graduated from Central Catholic High School, class of 1962. Denny spent 45 years in the beverage sales industry. After retirement, he began a new career in the Auto Part’s Delivery Industry. He was a lifetime gold card member of St. Joe Athletic Club, an avid golfer and dancer, enjoyed music, crossword puzzles, Sudoku, as well as being a trivia and geography buff. He had a contagious laugh and smile and a joyful spirit. Denny was a man of honor and integrity and was known for his sense of humor, wit and a passion for learning. He will wait to welcome his wife of 38 years, Karen; sister, Peggy Bunting; children, Denise (James) Wappes, Chad (Sara) Hall, Brian (Jane) Fiedler, Dawn (Matt) Cook, Matthew (Barb) Hall, Anthony (Shaketta) Hall, Brad (Julie) Fiedler; as well as 23 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Service will be 11 am, Monday, February 26, 2024 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 917 W. Jefferson Blvd., with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be on Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 2 pm to 5 pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church or the Parkinson’s Foundation.
