Obituary for Daniel Paul Wade
Daniel “Dan” Paul Wade, 67, of Elkhart, IN, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at
University Park Rehab in Fort Wayne. Dan was born in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Edward and Melva (O’Shaughnessey) Wade on July 5, 1955. He graduated from R Nelson Snider High School in 1973. After high school he received a degree in criminal justice. Dan loved to rescue animals and caring for his elderly neighbors. He owned and operated Danscape Landscaping Company in Elkhart, IN for over 20 years.
Dan is survived by his brothers, David (Joanne) Wade, Tom Wade, and Jack Wade; sister-in-law, Ruth Wade; beloved dog, Lucas, beloved cat, Apollo, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Wade.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
